Visit of the Minister on September 20, 2021

On Sept.  20, 2021 the Minister for Education, Science and Culture for Mecklenburg-Hither Pomerania, Bettina Martin, visited at the Rostock Astronomical Clock. Prof. Schukowski was delighted to personally explain the clock to her.

2023: The Volunteer Caregivers of the Clock

On April 27, all voluntary caregivers of the Astronomical Clock were invited by the the board of the club "Astronomische Uhr Rostock von 1472 e.V." to come together in historical Hausbaumhaus. Here attendees could meet the volunteers that joined just recently. Also, Bastian Hacker reported about preliminary findings from the scientific survey of the clock front that went on in March - April 2023. Also, M. Schukowski shared his memories of the times when he began to take an interst in this clock. Fedor Mitschke presented a concept to improve control over the clock's drift.
